Police Chase With Shots Fired Ends in Norman, OK

Monday, February 18, 2019 - A police chase involving Valley Brook police officers and several shots being fired around 1 PM on Monday ended in the Twin Creek Village Apartment complex in Norman, OK.  Several officers from the Norman police department converged on the scene at the complex very briefly closing East Lindsey St.  The Norman Fire Department was shortly later called in, but no injuries were being reported at this time.  It is being reported that this chase reached speeds up to 100 mph, but it is unknown at this time why the suspect fled.

It is being reported that one person was confirmed to be arrested. A possible second arrest might have also been made.  A couple of guns and a magazine were also found.  They are still looking for a possible rifle.

More details will come as they are available. You can find a video I captured from the end of the police chase below.
