Best Buy in Apple Valley, MN to Close Doors in March 2024
APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA - The Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce confirmed in a post on their Facebook page late Friday morning that Best Buy, located at 15300 Cedar Avenue, will be closing its doors on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
In their post, the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce shared photos of signage stating, "It's not goodbye, it's see you around... This store is closing [on] March 02, 2024."
These closures are likely tied to Best Buy's plan to shift toward online sales after a 9.3% decrease in sales in their 4th quarter and an outlook of continued decline ranging around 3-6% into 2024. From 2023 to 2024, Best Buy is projected to go from 925 US Stores to 901, closing 24.
