All photos and video were captured and provided by: Andy Fossum

Around 7:41 PM on Wednesday, November 2nd, a call came in for a possible house fire on Amethyst Lane in Eagan, Minnesota. When the Eagan Battalion 2 arrived on the scene, they reported a single-story home with fire coming from the charlie side of the home (back of the home). They chose to take an offensive attack on the fire and requested the call be upgraded to a second alarm. The Eagan Fire Department was assisted by crews from the Burnsville, Apple Valley, and Bloomington Fire Departments, Eagan Police Department, and MHealth EMS.

Crews were able to get the fire under control by around 9 PM with crews beginning to leave the scene by around 9:15 PM.

All occupants of the home and their pets were said to be out of the building. It is unknown at this time if there were any injuries sustained to anyone or the extent of the damage to the residence. We will update this story with more information once it is available.
