Burning Bans Lifted Across Twin Cities

Twin Cities, Minnesota - We are happy to report that the burn bans that were once in place across the Twin Cities Metro have since been lifted following the much-needed rain we received Thursday evening!

Following the rain, the threat of easily spreading fires has significantly decreased to a low to moderate threat across the Twin Cities. Additionally, the no-open burning bans have been lifted but permits for burning and variance restrictions do remain in place depending on where you live in the Twin Cities. You can see the map for these below. You can find more information on the fire threat and restrictions at the Minnesota Department of Resources Fire Danger and Burning Restrictions site.
