Update: Missing Eagan Man Found Deceased

EAGAN, MINNESOTA - Authorities announced on Monday, January 27th, a tragic update in the search for 43-year-old Valentin Ramos, who had been reported missing on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

With the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), Eden Prairie Police Department, Dakota County Dive Team, and Hennepin County Water Patrol Units, Ramos’ body was discovered on January 27 near the Minnesota River close to Highway 55 and Highway 5.

Officials confirmed there is no indication of foul play at this time.

Ramos had been last seen at Red Stone in Eden Prairie, and his family had expressed concern that he was in crisis. Authorities worked tirelessly over the past two days, conducting an extensive search across the south metro area.

“We extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Ramos’ family during this incredibly difficult time,” said Chief Roger New of the Eagan Police Department. “We also want to thank the public and our partner agencies for their assistance in this investigation.”
