MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA—
At around 12:37 PM on Thursday, March 28th, the Mendota Heights Fire Department, Minnesota State Patrol, and the Mendota Heights Police Department were called to a serious injury crash at Highway 13 and Mendota Heights Road in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. The crash involved two vehicles, a jeep and a large sanitation/disposal truck that had rolled over into the ditch.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the jeep was westbound on Sibley Memorial (Mendota Heights Road), and the dump truck was southbound on Highway 13 when they collided in the intersection. The Jeep reportedly spun off into the cable barrier while the truck veered into the traffic signal post, into the ditch, and rolled over.

Minnesota State Patrol says the drivers of both vehicles were the only occupants of their respective vehicles, and they were both transported with minor injuries.
