Shooting leaves one in critical condition - June 21, 2022
A shooting occurred during the afternoon on June 21, 2022, in the area of Hall Ave and Morton St W in St Paul, Minnesota. Police report they have found several shell casings at the scene and at least a dozen bullet holes were visible in the front hood and passenger side windshield of the vehicle. When speaking to neighbors at the scene, a few reported hearing what they thought were just firecrackers going off at the time. Several calls came into 911 though for reports of shots fired.
At least one male victim was taken to the hospital after being struck with gunfire. He was reported to be in critical condition, with no other details available at this time in regards to that victim.
Witnesses report that the suspect of the shooting was described as a tall black male who was wearing all black and a possible ski mask. After the shooting, they reportedly fled westbound on Morton St in a maroon-colored four-door sedan.
