Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 13 in Burnsville Under Investigation

BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 13 and Washburn Avenue in Burnsville.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol preliminary report, Burnsville Fire, Burnsville Police, and the State Patrol were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:09 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered that an SUV had collided with the side of a semi-trailer and had become lodged underneath part of the trailer. Thankfully, no extraction was reportedly needed.

The extent of any injuries sustained in the crash remains unclear as officials continue their investigation. Eyewitnesses at the scene suggested that the crash may have been medically related, though authorities have not confirmed this possibility.
