Semi-Truck Jack-Knifes, Temporarily Disrupts Traffic on I-494

WOODBURY, MINNESOTA—On August 8, just before 4:50 PM, a semi-truck jack-knifed on I-494 between Valley Creek Road and Tamarack Road in Woodbury, causing temporary traffic disruptions.

Authorities responded quickly to the scene, where the semi was found blocking the right lane of westbound I-494. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, no other vehicles were involved, no injuries were reported, and no damage to surrounding property was caused. The blockage lasted less than an hour. The semi was cleared from the roadway around 5:45 PM, and traffic returned to normal shortly after.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation. As authorities continue investigating the circumstances of the incident, further details are expected.
