WAUKESHA, WISCONSIN - Around 11:50 AM on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, multiple fire units were called out to the Waukesha Antique Mall at 1427 East Racine Avenue in Waukesha, Wisconsin, for the reports of a possible fire at the business.

Several fire and medical units from the Waukesha Fire Department responded to the location, including mutual aid from the Town of Waukesha, Brookfield, Vernon, and the New Berlin, Wisconsin Fire Departments. The City of Waukesha command vehicle was also dispatched to the scene.

Fire crews quickly arrived on the scene to determine there was only a furnace fire at the business, and everything was quickly contained. According to a post on the Waukesha Antique Mall's Facebook page, the building only suffered smoke damage.

"Early this afternoon there was a furnace fire at Waukesha Antique Mall. Everyone is safe, and the mall only sustained smoke damage (no water, no fire on the main floor, thank goodness). We will be closed temporarily and will re-open as soon as we possibly can! " - Waukesha Antique Mall
