In response to the grave situation, a significant number of resources were deployed to the scene. Among those responding were the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department's armored vehicle and personnel, as well as specialized units from the City of Waukesha Police Department, including the Deployable Technology Unit, Tactical Unit, K9 Unit, and additional armored vehicles. Utilizing drone technology, officers were able to confirm that a female inside the residence appeared to be deceased.
