Friday:
Daytime: Mostly cloudy skies with highs in the low 30s. Westerly winds at 5-10 mph, with gusts up to 15 mph.
Night: Partly clear skies and lows in the low 20s. Southwesterly winds up to 10 mph, with gusts of 15 mph.
Freezing Fog Risk Tonight: Patchy freezing fog may develop overnight tonight, leading to slick spots on roads into the early morning hours on Saturday. This will be especially true on bridges, elevated surfaces, and untreated surfaces.
Saturday:
Daytime: A warm-up begins with partly sunny skies and highs in the middle 40s, some areas could maybe even reach the upper 40s. Southwesterly winds at 5 mph, gusting up to 25 mph.
Night: Partly cloudy skies with lows in the middle to upper 20s. Westerly winds up to 10 mph, with gusts of 15 mph.
Sunday:
Daytime: Partly sunny with occasional sprinkles. Trace amounts of rain are possible. Highs are forecast to be in the upper 30s to low 40s. Southeasterly winds at 5-15 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph.
Night: Decreasing clouds with lingering sprinkles. Trace amounts of rain are possible. Lows around the upper 20s, with southwesterly winds at 5-15 mph.
Monday:
Daytime: Overcast skies return, with highs around the upper 20s to low 30s. Westerly winds at 5-10 mph, gusting to 15 mph.

Freezing Fog Risk Tonight: Patchy freezing fog may develop overnight tonight (Friday), leading to slick spots on roads.
Weekend Warm-Up: Above-average temperatures this weekend, with highs reaching the 40s. Part of southern Minnesota could even approach near 50°F on Saturday.
Gusty Saturday: With the warm-up comes the gusty conditions. Saturday, wind gusts nearing 25 mph will be possible!
Looking Ahead:
Light snow chances emerge Monday as a system brushes the region. Accumulations, if any, will be minor. Based on the latest guidance, the greatest chance of accumulating snow will be north of the Twin Cities Metro.
Another system will work into the region mid-week and is expected to bring a sharp temperature drop next week, with highs falling into the teens by Wednesday and sub-zero wind chills likely returning.
