Shots Fired Incident at Glen of Burnsville Resolved Quickly, One Arrest Made
BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA – According to Burnsville Officials, police responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Glen of Burnsville on the 13000 block of Harriet Ave. S. around 3 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The situation was swiftly contained, and one individual was taken into custody without incident.
Upon receiving reports of shots fired, authorities responded swiftly to ensure a quick resolution to the situation. Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the response, including officers from Bloomington, Eagan, Savage, Rosemount, Dakota County, and Inver Grove Heights. Burnsville’s BearCat tactical vehicle was also deployed, but they did not need it for this incident. Emergency responders, including Burnsville Fire and medical personnel, were also on-site to provide support, though they were cleared from the scene by around 3:45 pm.
The details surrounding the cause of the gunfire and the identity of the arrested individual have not yet been released. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the event.
