Community Alert – Police Seek Public’s Help to Find Missing Eagan Man Believed to Be in Crisis

EAGAN, MINNESOTA - The Eagan Police Department is asking for the public's help locating 43-year-old Valentin Ramos, a resident of Eagan, who was reported missing on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Family members raised concerns about his well-being, stating they believe Ramos may be in crisis. The Eden Prairie Police Department received the initial report from Ramos’ family at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Since then, the Eagan Police Department has partnered with Eden Prairie authorities to locate him.
Ramos was last seen at Red Stone in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, but investigators believe he may have been traveling in the south metro area, possibly along Highway 62 and Highway 5/494. He reportedly drove a 2006 black Honda Pilot with Minnesota license plate RPU 257, pictured below.

Family members contacted law enforcement after expressing concerns about his mental health and well-being. Officials say they are prioritizing his safe return and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
“We’re asking the public to remain vigilant and call us if they see Mr. Ramos or his vehicle,” said Eagan Police Chief Roger New. “We are working closely with Eden Prairie police and need the community’s assistance in locating him quickly and safely.”

Police encourage individuals to act quickly if they spot Ramos or his vehicle and to avoid approaching him directly. The safety of Ramos and the public remains the department's highest priority.
