Single-Vehicle Rollover in West St. Paul Results in Charges Against Driver
WEST ST PAUL, MINNESOTA - In the early hours of May 9, 2024, a single-vehicle rollover shook the quiet streets of West St. Paul. According to the West St. Paul Police Department, the accident occurred around 3:30 AM on Thursday, May 9th, when a 34-year-old female was driving a Jeep southbound on Cherokee Avenue, approaching Dodd Road, and struck a legally parked vehicle.
After striking the unoccupied legally parked Chevrolet Trailblazer, the jeep subsequently rolled over. The driver of the Jeep was transported to a local hospital for medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said that alcohol was a contributing factor, although the female driver was not deemed to be intoxicated at the time of the crash. Law enforcement said she did receive a charge for reckless driving.
