Possible Stabbing or Shooting Reported at Bloomington Apartment Complex
BLOOMINGTON, MINNESOTA—Emergency responders rushed to a Bloomington apartment complex Tuesday afternoon following reports of a possible stabbing or shooting.
Just after 2:00 p.m. on April 22, 2025, officers from the Bloomington Police Department, along with personnel from the Bloomington Fire Department and Allina Health EMS, were dispatched to the Southgate Apartments located in the 8000 block of 12th Avenue South. Officers were not able to confirm whether the incident involved either a stabbing or a shooting, but we can confirm at least one male was transported via ambulance to a local hospital. The nature and extent of their injuries have not been disclosed yet.
It remains unclear if any suspect(s) have been identified or taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected as authorities continue to gather information.
