Driver Rescued From Burning Vehicle After Crash on I-35W in Roseville

ROSEVILLE, MN – A 22-year-old Minneapolis man is recovering after a single-vehicle crash that occurred just before 9:25 AM on Monday, September 9, near the intersection of I-35W and County Road C in Roseville, Minnesota. The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene, where a Toyota Rav4 had collided with a light pole before catching fire.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, one of their Troopers and several good Samaritans acted quickly to remove the driver from the burning vehicle. The Minnesota State Patrol confirmed that the driver sustained moderate but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) for treatment.

The crash involved a 2024 Toyota Rav4 and remains under investigation. Roseville Fire Department, Minnesota State Patrol, and Minnesota Department of Transportation’s FIRST responded to the scene.
