Law Enforcement Continues to Search for Shue Xiong, Vehicle Was Found in Superior, Wisconsin

LATEST UPDATE: Missing Apple Valley Man Found Deceased Following Mental Health Crisis in St. Paul, Minnesota

APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA - The search continues for 42-year-old Shue Xiong, a local pizza delivery driver who has been missing since the evening of Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

In a recent update from the Apple Valley Police Department on Monday, January 20, 2025, they confirmed that Xiong’s red 2006 Toyota Camry was found unoccupied in Superior, Wisconsin, on Sunday, January 19. Witnesses in the area reported seeing someone matching Xiong’s description in the vehicle around 4 PM on Saturday, January 18. Later that evening, an acquaintance claimed to have spoken with him in Roseville, Minnesota, around 8 PM. Authorities are still investigating how Xiong traveled between these locations or if he may have obtained another vehicle.

Investigators now believe Xiong may be experiencing a mental health crisis, compounded by the frigid temperatures and his unusual behavior. While there is no indication that Xiong poses a threat to others, police note that he is known to carry a firearm and has a permit to do so.

The Apple Valley Police Department urges anyone who has seen Xiong or has information about his whereabouts to contact them immediately at (952) 953-2700 or to call 911 if he is spotted.

Background and Timeline of Events

Xiong was last seen at his job at Domino’s in Apple Valley on January 14, 2025, before failing to deliver four scheduled orders around 6 PM. That evening, he reportedly used someone else’s phone in Richfield, Minnesota, to attempt to contact his family. Further investigation revealed no significant activity on Xiong’s phone, bank accounts, or social media following his disappearance. Detectives also confirmed his previous last known sighting was on January 14 at a Target store in Richfield, Minnesota.

Family and friends had organized a search party on January 16 to scour areas where Xiong may have been seen. Despite these efforts, there have been no confirmed sightings of him or his vehicle until the recent discovery in Superior, Wisconsin.

Xiong is described as an Asian male, 5’8” tall, weighing 215 pounds, with brown eyes, glasses, and a black mustache and beard.
